The opportunity

Help customers choose the right next step.

As an Energy Performance Advisor, you’ll be a customer’s point of contact from their first inbound call through to delivery. You’ll combine your sales experience with the training we provide to understand current EPC recommendations, explain suitable improvements and help customers make informed decisions about their homes.

This is an office-based role at Kimada House, 442 Flixton Road, Urmston, Manchester, M41 6QT. You’ll work with customers by phone and coordinate with colleagues to keep each enquiry moving and each customer up to date.

What you’ll be doing

  • Handle inbound calls, understand each customer’s priorities and build a clear picture of their property and needs.
  • Review the current Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and its recommendations, using your training to identify suitable next steps.
  • Explain the available options clearly and advise on the best solution for the property and customer.
  • Work towards sales targets, follow up enquiries and keep accurate records of conversations and agreed actions.
  • Organise the next stages with assessors, designers and delivery colleagues, keeping the customer informed from initial enquiry through to delivery.

What you’ll bring

  • At least three years’ sales experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Confident telephone communication, active listening and the ability to explain recommendations in straightforward language.
  • An organised approach to follow-up, customer records and coordinating several enquiries at different stages.
  • A willingness to learn about EPCs, property improvements and Cucumber Eco’s services through the full training provided.
  • The ability to work from our Kimada House office in Urmston, Manchester.

Full training is provided for the role. Your application should show at least three years of sales experience in a target-driven environment, with examples of the targets you worked towards and how you managed customer relationships.
